A 3000m³ Double Membrane Biogas Holder is Finished Installation in Thailand

Recently, Sichuan Mondes Green Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Mondes") announced the successful completion of a 3,000m³ double membrane gas holder installation at a large palm oil factory in Krabi, Thailand. This milestone not only further solidifies Mondes's leading position in biogas storage and resource utilization technology in the Southeast Asian market but also provides an innovative solution for the green transformation of the global palm oil industry. 

Project Background and Technical Highlights
This palm oil factory is located in the core agricultural production area of Thailand and generates a large amount of organic waste from palm fruit processing every day. To achieve the resource utilization of the waste and reduce carbon emissions, the factory has chosen to cooperate with Mondes and introduce its self-developed double membrane gas holder system. The 3,000m³ gas holder installed this time adopts a double membrane structure design and has the following core advantages: 

• High-efficiency sealing: The inner membrane stores biogas, while the outer membrane resists ultraviolet rays and extreme climates, ensuring "zero leakage" of gas.
• Intelligent control: Integrated pressure sensors and an automated control system monitor the operation status of the gas holder in real time.
• Corrosion-resistant and long-lasting: Made of high-strength PVDF material, it can withstand high-temperature and high-humidity environments, with a service life of over 20 years.
• Fast installation: The modular design significantly shortens the construction period, and the project from delivery to commissioning only takes 45 days.

Promoting the green upgrade of the palm oil industry
The organic wastewater produced during the palm oil production process can be converted into biogas through anaerobic fermentation, and the double membrane gas holder is the core facility for biogas storage. The solution provided by Mondes not only helps the factory reduce about 5,000 tons of carbon dioxide emissions per year, but also converts biogas into power and heat for the factory, reducing energy costs by 30%. The project manager said, "This system provides a replicable 'waste-to-energy' model for the palm oil industry in Southeast Asia, helping enterprises achieve carbon neutrality goals."
