Background
The plant needed clean, reliable storage for drinking water used at the facility. Its options were limited: cast-in-place concrete tanks take months to build and are hard to extend, and welded steel tanks need heavy equipment on a site with tight access. The client wanted a tank that could be delivered quickly, assembled within the existing footprint, and keep the stored water safe to drink.

On-Site Installation
The tanks were assembled in stages on the site:
- The concrete ring foundation was prepared and checked for level.
- Glass-fused-to-steel panels were positioned and bolted ring by ring, with joints sealed as work progressed.
- The roof structure and radial beams were installed on top of the shell.
- The platform and caged ladder were fitted for safe access.
- The local crew was briefed on assembly and the tanks were handed over for service.
